We are a manufacturer’s representative specializing in electrical products, which we sell through a network of wholesale electrical distributors. Our territory, known as Western New England, encompasses Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and Vermont.

We represent nationally recognized manufacturing firms each of whom are consistently rated the best in their respective product category. Our strength is in engineered products, shelf goods and commodities sold to the industrial MRO, residential & commercial construction and institutional markets through wholesale distribution.

P&M Sales was founded by Thomas C. Mooney and Steve K. Peperis on September 1, 1986.  William Terry Jr. became a partner in 2005. Our distributors, our users and our principals can back our reputation as an aggressive award-winning agency. We will gladly furnish a list of references upon request.

One of the large, key distributors in our territory ran a top performer awards program from 1995 through 2006. P&M Sales was chosen as top rep for ten of those eleven years. This may be viewed as bragging but it truly illustrates the level of excellence we have achieved and we are understandably proud of this and other similar accomplishments.

Our success, in part, is a result of limiting the number of lines we represent and our decision to cover a smaller, more manageable territory rather than all six New England states. Most rep firms that cover all six New England states have historically ignored Western New England. We continue to have the highest ratio of outside salesmen to lines of any agency in New England.

Our philosophy from the beginning was to become very important to a few people in a smaller trading area as opposed to a little important to many people in a larger trading area. This approach has allowed us to grow our lines into positions of enviable strength in our territory. Even through recessions and slowdowns, we have consistently exceeded the expectations of our principals.

At your request, we will conduct a market size and market share analysis that will allow you to see where you are and where you should be. The information contained in the analysis often reveals startling information on missed opportunities in our territory.
